We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior / Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting qualified looking to develop their career in a supportive and team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of accounting services including taxation, financial reporting and business advisory.

Key responsibilities

Bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
n
Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, and payroll obligations
n
Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting processes
n
Maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger accounts
n
Assisting with budgeting and cash flow reporting
n
Liaising with clients
n
Supporting the preparation of financial statements and management reports
n
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations
n
Tax Return preparation
n

About you

n

n
Degree in Accounting,



Finance, or a related field
n
1 to 5 years accounting experience (Junior to Intermediate level)
n
Working knowledge of accounting principles and Australian taxation requirements
n
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar
n
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
Studying toward or completed CPA qualification (desirable)
n
