Job Description
Prospects exist for suitably qualified and experienced Engineers to join the Rex engineering team in a full time capacity, based in Wagga Wagga NSW.
n
Our Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are responsible for carrying out scheduled andunscheduled maintenance activities on Rex Group's aircraft, aircraftcomponents and ground equipment within a maintenance team to a high standard andin a timely manner.
n
We require all applicants for the position of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to possess the following:
n
n
Acceptable mechanical, structural, or avionics certification/qualification/experience
n
A demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements, under minimal supervision and to strict deadlines.
n
Proven ability to work in a close knit team setting, however, also has the ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
n
A sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and documentation
n
Working knowledge of WH&S; procedures
n
SAAB 340 experience highly preferred
n
Experience on turbo-prop aircraft
n
Experience in Airline operations or relevant GA experience
n
A valid Australian driver's license or have the ability to be issued with one
n
Hold or ability to obtain an airport ASIC security ID and Airside Driver's License
n
Highly-developed verbal and written communication skills
n
A high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethic
n
Flexibility with working hours, with ability to work a 4-day shift roster between Monday & Friday and overtime as/when required
n

Conditions:
n
Terms and conditions apply as per the Regional Express Aircraft Engineers' Agreement, with starting salary of $79,500 per annum depending on shift pattern, licensing, qualifications and experience.
