Location: Brisbane, QLD (various sites across South East Queensland)

Salary: $80,000 – $82,000 per annum plus superannuation

n

Employment type: Full time, Permanent (38 hours/week)

Responsibilities

n

n
Attending sites to inspect and evaluate damage arising from fire, water, storm or mould events
n
Preparing cost estimates and scopes of restoration works for insurer review
n
Writing transparent, detailed assessment reports with supporting photographic evidence
n
Communicating with policyholders and other parties to obtain claim‐relevant information
n
Coordinating with restoration technicians and trade contractors to progress claims
n
Working within regulatory and industry (IICRC) standards at all times
n

Essential requirements

n

n




At least 2 years' relevant experience in insurance restoration or loss assessment
n
IICRC WRT accreditation or higher
n
Valid White Card and QLD driver's licence
n
Sound written communication and analytical skills
n
Capacity to work independently and manage a caseload under time pressure
n

Some after-hours and weekend work may be required, with applicable penalty rates.

Occasional interstate travel may be required to support catastrophic event response.
