About The Role

n

The right candidate will be well versed inall aspects of industrial corrosion protection, carry out blast and DFT inspections, quality documents, experience in a workshop setting and understand multiple coating systems and implement to a high-quality standard, with a NACE 2 qualification.

n

Please note this is a factory based position.

n

Reporting to the Production Manager, your day will consist of the following:

n

n
Hands on role conducting visual inspections, surface profile tests and daily required testing.
n
Be the primary interface between customer service and production staff to ensure customer needs are met
n
Perform visual inspections of customer jobs, materials, products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
n
Conduct daily tests to verify integrity.
n




Collaborate with sales / production teams to understand job expectations.
n
Receive shipments of both customer and supplier deliveries. Examine deliveries to ensure they are accurate quality, quantity and specifications.
n
Advise the production manager of any issues that potentially impact production starting or continuing.
n
Keep accurate and complete records in the job folders which is essential to the quality system.
n
Follow established guidelines, instructions, policies and procedures, and maintain current quality compliance.
n
Act as the point of contact between external engineers and external QA inspectors.

What we are looking for

n

n
Minimum of 3+ year's experience in Quality Assurance inindustrial corrosion industry is a must.
n
NACE Level 2 certified a must
n
Ability to understand technical specifications of materials and equipment.
n
Excellent communication and customer skills and the ability to work with different teams within the company.
n
Keen interest in quality assurance and attention to detail.
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced factory setting and meet deadlines.
