Secondary Science Teacher - We are calling for applications from suitably qualified teachers who are passionate about joining the Genesis teaching community and possess a deep understanding and experience of Science up to Year 10.

This position is permanent, full time to start 01 Jan 2027. (there may be an chance to start in Term 4, 2026 if preferred)

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
QCT Registration (or eligibility) and demonstrated Teaching experience
n




Ability to teach Secondary Science up to Year 10
n
Knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices and assessment strategies appropriate to secondary schooling
n
Familiarity with the QCAA syllabuses and experience in curriculum development (in line with the Australian National Curriculum)
n
Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work proactively within a team-oriented teaching team
n
An active Christian faith.
