We are looking for a bookkeeper who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in an autonomous environment towards strict deadlines.

As a part of our growing team, you will work closely with a friendly team of accountants and bookkeepers at different levels.

Red Shed Business Advisors is a boutique Accounting Firm based in Benowa on the Gold Coast offering accounting, tax and business advisory services to a variety of size businesses.

n

The firm is led by a team of creative, entrepreneurial and approachable partners that are looking to grow the firm.

The Role

n

Manage a number of Xero / MYOB data files for our clients, including :-

n

n
Send Statements
n
Allocate Payments
n
Create / Apply Credit Notes
n
Purchases
n
Create Purchase
n
Manage on time payment of all purchases
n
Reconcile purchases to customer statements
n
Apply Credit Notes
n




Reconciliation of bank accounts within Xero / MYOB and rectify discrepancies from bank statements
n
Process payroll
n
Process superannuation
n
Knowledge of BAS preparation
n
Prepare financial reports and statements, such as a balance sheet and income statement from the clients data file.
n
Manage bank feeds, accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
Assist with tax filing and organising accounting tasks
n

Qualifications and experience

n

n
Xero and MYOB experience essential.
n
Solid attention to detail
n
Positive attitude, approachable and self-motivated
n
Exceptional communication skills on all levels
n
Solid work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
n
Formal bookkeeping or accounting qualifications would be highly regarded
n
Friendly and supportive team environment
n
