We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Educator to join our team. This role will involve supporting educators across all rooms and covering staff breaks, while helping to provide a secure, nurturing and engaging environment for children from birth to school age.

The successful applicant will have experience working with children aged 0-school age, be confident adapting to different age groups and environments, and demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Key responsibilities
n

Cover staff breaks across all rooms as required
n
Support educators with the daily care, supervision and education of children
n
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
n
Assist with routines including meals, sleep, nappy changing, toileting and transitions
n
Help implement engaging play-based learning experiences
n
Maintain a secure, clean and welcoming workplace
n
Follow all centre policies, procedures and relevant health and safety requirements
n
Work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team
n

Experience working with children from birth to school age
n
A warm, caring and positive approach
n
The ability to confidently work across different rooms and age groups
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
Flexibility, reliability and a willingness to support the team where needed
n
An understanding of children's wellbeing, learning and development
n

A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for NSW
n
A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently enrolled and studying towards this qualification
