About the role
As a Night Duty Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and delivering protected, person-centred care to our residents. You will work collaboratively with care staff and/or allied health specialists to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care throughout the night.
Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with best practice standards.
Undertake clinical assessments and monitor resident health and wellbeing.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Respond to clinical incidents and emergencies as required.
Supervise and support care staff during night shifts.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care records.
Liaise with residents, families, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals.
About you
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Previous experience in aged care, acute care, or community nursing.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of aged care standards and clinical governance.
Ability to work independently and lead a team during night shifts.
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
