We're seeking a passionate and experienced Animal Attendant to join our dog daycare team. This role suits someone energetic, reliable, and confident handling dogs of all sizes, with a genuine commitment to canine care and wellbeing. You'll bring enthusiasm, a solid work ethic, and a positive attitude, along with a dedication to providing outstanding service to both our clients and their beloved pets.
Key responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service with attention to detail
Maintain centre standards, policies, and procedures
Build robust relationships with pet parents through explicit communication
Perform daily admin tasks (emails, calls, record keeping, data entry)
Supervise and manage groups of dogs, ensuring safety and wellbeing
Provide daily enrichment activities
Conduct temperament assessments
Maintain cleanliness of the facility
Capture photos/videos and create social media content
About you
Experience working with groups of dogs
Experience must specifically be in dog daycare facilities or balanced dog training with a minimum of 1 year experience
Solid understanding of dog behaviour and handling skills
Team player with a positive attitude
Certificate II in Animal Care (or similar) preferred
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Basic social media content creation skills (Facebook & Instagram)
Current driver's licence
Legal right to work in Australia
