About the role

Kerfab Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Kerang, Victoria. This is a full-time role where you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing and fabrication processes that support our growing business. As a Welder / Fabricator, you will use your expertise to deliver high-quality welding and fabrication work to the required specifications and standards.

What you'll be doing
Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks to a high standard using a variety of welding techniques and equipment
Work primarily with steel materials throughout fabrication processes
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to produce components and assemblies
Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely completion of projects
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety policies
Continuously seek to improve processes and identify opportunities for innovation

What we're looking for
Relevant trade qualifications in welding and/or fabrication
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Welder / Fabricator, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Proficient in TIG, MIG, and stick welding techniques




Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
Valid work visa or Australian work rights required for this position
