Day to day, you will:
Managing property settlements and parenting matters from first conference through to resolution
Drafting court documents, affidavits, consent orders and binding financial agreements
Appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia on directions and interim applications, and briefing counsel on contested hearings
Advising clients on divorce, de facto separations, spousal maintenance and child support

What you will bring
Admission as a solicitor in Current South Wales and a current NSW practising certificate
Approximately 2–5 years' post-admission experience with meaningful exposure to family law
Confidence drafting court documents and appearing on your own directions matters
Sound working knowledge of the Family Law Act 1975 and current FCFCOA procedure
