About the role

As a Cleaner, you will play a key role in ensuring our facility remains clean, hygienic, and welcoming. You will work as part of a supportive hospitality team and contribute to the wellbeing and comfort of our residents at our residential aged care facility.

Key responsibilities
Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to a high standard.
Maintain infection prevention and control practices.
Perform routine cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising.
Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Dispose of waste in accordance with facility procedures.
Report maintenance, safety, or cleaning concerns to the appropriate staff.
Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive workplace.

About you
Previous cleaning experience (aged care, healthcare, hospitality, or commercial cleaning preferred but not essential).




A solid commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Respectful and caring communication skills when interacting with residents and families.
Understanding of infection control practices or willingness to learn.
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
