House of Nguyen Pty Ltd T/A Pho Nguyen is a well-established Vietnamese restaurant in Adelaide, operating two key venues: 82 Gouger Street, Adelaide SA 5000, and T51, Churchill Shopping Centre.

There is currently a vacancy for a full-time Restaurant Manager to oversee operations across both locations. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director and will be responsible for the following duties, including but not limited to:

• Supervising shifts and ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.

• Help in plan the menu as per season or to add new items in menu with chefs’

• Training recent and current employees on proper customer service practices, food safety standards, and company policies.

• Maximizing customer satisfaction and responding to customer complaints in a qualified and courteous manner.

• Creating schedules for restaurant staff and tracking their work hours and payroll data.

• Appraising staff performance and providing feedback to improve productivity and quality.

• Planning any events or special occasions and organising all work for events.





• Interviewing and recruiting recent employees who fit the restaurant’s culture and vision.

• Managing daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations, such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.

• Creating reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses, and analysing them to identify areas for improvement.

• Controlling operational costs and finding ways to reduce waste and increase profitability.

• Greet all guests and may help other staff in taking orders.

• May ask for feedback from clients about food and service.

• Reviewing product quality and researching new vendors or suppliers to ensure the best value and quality for the restaurant.

Eligibility Criteria:

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma OR

• Three years of experience to substitute the formal qualification

• Work experience in the occupation is preferable.

Salary – $75,000 - $85,000 plus super
