Coasteel Engineering is a family-owned and operated structural steel fabrication company on the Sunshine Coast. Due to an increase in demand for our services, an prospect has arisen for a Boilermaker/Fabricator to join our team.

The Position:

The position isfull-time(secure employment!) and available forimmediate start . Ordinary hours are Monday to Friday, with plenty of overtime hours available at overtime rates.

The position will involve a wide range of structural steel fabrication work for residential, commercial/industrial and custom projects. There will be an chance for the right candidate to be trained in-house to operate our advanced technologies, including CNC machinery and robotic welders. There is also a possibility of on-site work if required.

Successful applicants will have the following:

Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade)





Prior experience in structural steel

The ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings

Knowledge of safe work practices and WH&S;

Pride in workmanship and attention to detail

Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

Forklift license and/or EWP ticket desirable but not mandatory

In office experience highly regarded
