About The Albatross Health Centre

The Albatross Health Centre is located at Nowra on the South Coast of NSW, approximately 2.5 hours from Sydney CBD. HMAS Albatross is the largest operational naval establishment in Australia and the Navy’s only air station. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, mental health, physiotherapy, nursing and pharmaceutical services to up to 1500 ADF members. Standard hours of operation are generally Monday-Friday,



with medical officers on-call for aviation retrievals.

What You’ll Do
Working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week
Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care

What You Bring
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
