About The Role
Reporting to the Executive Manager – People & Culture, you will provide strategic and operational People & Culture leadership across the employee lifecycle while leading a small People & Culture team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Providing expert advice on employee relations, performance management and workplace matters
Leading end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning activities
Supporting managers with leadership development and employee growth initiatives
Managing disciplinary, grievance and industrial relations matters
Ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and company policies
Overseeing onboarding, inductions and employee engagement initiatives
Managing HR systems, reporting, documentation and compliance requirements
Building strong relationships with leaders across the business to support operational outcomes
Driving continuous improvement within HR processes and systems
Leading and mentoring People & Culture team members
About You




Minimum 4 years' experience in a senior People & Culture role within mining, resources, heavy industry or a similar operational environment
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations and contemporary HR practices
Proven experience managing employee relations, recruitment and performance management processes
Demonstrated leadership and team management capability
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement
Strong computer literacy and administration skills
Current C Class Driver's Licence
Desirable
Degree qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
