Role Overview
Seeking aSenior Electrical Engineerwith stronghands-on detailed design experiencein power, hydropower, or major infrastructure projects, with expertise in Balance of Plant (BoP) electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead detailedBoP electrical design, including SLDs, cable sizing, protection, and technical specifications.
Design and reviewLV/MV/HV switchgear, transformers, generator feeders, DC and auxiliary systems.
Coordinate with suppliers, engineering teams, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
Providehands-on site engineering support, inspections, NCR resolution, and commissioning assistance.




Review technical documentation and maintain accurateAs-Builtrecords.
Required Skills
Electrical/Power Engineering degree with10+ years' experiencein power plants, hydropower, switchgear, or heavy infrastructure.
Strong knowledge ofLV/MV/HV systems, transformers, protection, grounding, and auxiliary power.
Solid understanding ofAustralian Standards (AS/NZS); NER registration highly desirable.
Proficiency inAutoCAD/Engineering Base, ETAP, and 3D/BIM tools such as Revizto.
Strong stakeholder management and technical problem-solving skills.
