At ASX, you will be part of a team in managing the financial performance of the company, participating and making decisions that directly results in real outcomes in our financial results, use automation to audit and improve our processes and streamline financial reporting.

The Finance Graduate will rotate across teams within Finance and Corporate Affairs division:
Financial Control- This rotation will be part of the financial control team working on month end close, daily banking and reconciliations, group reporting and other ad-hoc queries. There may also be opportunities to be involved in the work of other teams within Financial Control, being finance operations, tax, finance systems and national facilities. Working within the Finance team you will be exposed to the many and varied functions of the CFO office
Internal Audit-Internal Audit provides independent, objective assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve ASX's operations. It assists management and the Board to accomplish their objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of ASX's governance, risk management and internal control processes. Graduates in Internal Audit are involved in end‐to‐end audit activities, including attending stakeholder meetings, supporting audit planning and fieldwork and contributing to working papers. There are also opportunities to work on team initiatives, training sessions and broader projects. Overall,



the rotation provides exposure to a broad range of ASX business areas and regular interaction with stakeholders at all levels, within a highly collaborative and supportive team environment.
Commercial Planning-the Commercial Planning team sits within the Finance function and is primarily responsible for the forecast, analysis and management of the Group's financial performance. The team works closely with all the Lines of Businesses to understand underlying business performance and how this translates into our financial results. The team is also responsible for the production of timely and accurate financial data & information that is used by senior management and the Board of Directors.
What you will be doing:
Finance end to end:Learn the basics, immerse yourself in all facets of the Finance team from financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting & analysis, business partnering, internal audit, investor relations and treasury
Impact financial performance:Contribute and make decisions that directly impact the financial performance of the Group.
Financial control:Learn the importance of maintaining robust financial control and upholding the integrity of the numbers that we report to the external stakeholders, the public market and executive leadership team and Board of Directors.
Trusted partner and advisor:Becoming a business partner, an advisor that works hand in hand with the business and providing it with advice, financial information and insights that will shape and influence real business decisions.
Scrutinise and improve:Perform in depth analysis of critical operational processes within and outside of Finance,



determining key risks and implementing improvements and/or controls to mitigate risks to the Group and protecting shareholder value.
Lead from the ground up:Get involved in the operations including planning, communications and execution, building your skills in delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Grow with great people:Work alongside supportive and talented leaders who will coach, mentor and help you build robust professional networks.
You'll also take part in an 8-week group project to solve a real business challenge, working alongside fellow graduates.
