Key Responsibilities
Design and engineerBalance of Plant (BoP) electrical systems.
Work onLV/MV/HV switchgear, transformers, generator feeders, DC systems, grounding and auxiliary power systems.
PrepareSLDs, cable sizing, protection settings, technical specifications and engineering documentation.
Ensure designs comply withAustralian Standards (AS/NZS).
Review engineering designs and documentation from suppliers and subcontractors.
Provide technical support duringprocurement, installation and commissioning.
Resolve site technical queries andNon-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Conduct site inspections and maintain accurateAs-Built documentation.
Review and approve technical and commissioning documents.
Key Skills
Degree inElectrical or Power Engineering.
10+ yearsof experience in power plants, industrial electrical systems or heavy infrastructure.
Strong experience withLV/MV/HV systems, switchgear and transformers.
Strong knowledge ofAustralian Standards (AS/NZS).
NER registration with Engineers Australia.
Experience withAutoCAD/CAE and ETAP.
Experience withBIM/3D design and Reviztois desirable.
Hydropower project experienceis highly desirable.
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
