Job Description

The MAMS Group is currently seeking an enthusiastic, and physically fit truck driver to join our Cairns based team, operating hook trucks on a relief basis. The role involves local work as well as day trips to Edmonton, Tully and Innisfail.

The role is casual Saturday work and filling in for when team members are on leave. Casual hours will range between 5 to 10 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week when other drivers are on leave. This position would suit a semi-retiree with the relevant experience.

Key Requirements:

/n

/n
HR or HC Truck Licence and proven experience as a heavy vehicle truck driver

/n
Ability to work independently and represent MAMS Group with professionalism, honesty, and integrity

/n
Robust commitment to safety and compliance with NHVR regulations and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements

/n
Able to carry out manual handling tasks (tarping skips)

/n
High level of communication – both written and verbal

/n
Successful applicants will also need to undertake a full medical examination and police check.
