Business Development Manager - Perth or Canberra

Our client is a well-established technology services organisation hiring for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across a portfolio of enterprise customers.

Reporting to a senior leader, you/'ll be responsible for developing trusted client relationships, identifying current business opportunities, and delivering commercial outcomes across existing and prospective accounts. This is a strategic, customer-facing role where you/'ll partner with key stakeholders to understand their business priorities and align technology solutions that create measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic customer accounts.

Build strong executive relationships and become a trusted advisor.

Identify opportunities to expand services and deliver long-term account growth.

Develop compelling commercial proposals and business cases.

Work closely with internal delivery teams to ensure successful client outcomes.

Monitor account performance, commercial metrics, and profitability.

Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on pipeline, growth, and customer engagement.

About You

They are looking for someone with either IT Recruitment experince who/'s looking to get into Business Devleopment Manager sales job, or an experienced BDM in a similar IT space.

/n
Proven success in enterprise account management, business development, or client engagement within technology or professional services.

/n
Robust commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.

/n
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, including engagement at executive level.

/n
Confident presenting solutions, negotiating outcomes, and influencing decision-makers.

/n
A proactive, strategic mindset with a genuine focus on delivering value for customers.
