Experienced Sewing Machinist – Bridal & Evening Wear Part time

I'm a Melbourne based bridal and evening wear designer with over 20 years in the industry and my own label. As my business grows, I'm looking for a talented Sewing Machinist to work alongside me from my home studio in Melbourne's western suburbs.

This isn't just a job. I'm looking for someone who genuinely loves what they do and takes pride in their craft.

About the Role

/n

You'll be working closely with me, sharing the workload across bridal and evening wear construction using specialty and delicate fabrics. It's a hands-on, cooperative role in a small, passionate environment.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Machinist in bridal, evening wear, or formal garment construction

/n




Confident working with specialty fabrics (chiffon, satin, lace, tulle, etc.)

/n
Solid hand finishing skills

/n
A genuine passion for the craft and attention to detail

/n
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

/n
Available 2–3 days per week consistently
