About the Position:

The Retail Manager role is responsible for overseeing the full operations of the Metro Petroleum Minto store, ensuring smooth day-to-day running, staff performance, budget control, stock management, and customer service standards. This position plays a critical part in driving sales performance, maintaining the store’s reputation, and supporting Hari Petroleum Pty Ltd’s overall business objectives through effective leadership and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
Organise all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel




Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within the budget
Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
Analyse the sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines

Requirements:
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply
Diploma or higher qualification
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage budgets, supervise teams, handle customer complaints effectively, and maintain compliance with health and safety standards
