They are seeking a agile, full-functionFinance Managerin Melbourne to oversee regional operations and integrate cross-border entity finances.
About the Role
As Finance Manager, you will hold end-to-end accountability for finance operations across multiple international entities.
This is a strategic yet deeply operational role where you will manage the full financial lifecycle—from high-volume transaction reconciliations to group reporting, tax compliance, and business partnering.
You will serve as a key bridge between Melbourne operations and overseas headquarters, driving financial control, scalability, and treasury support.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Finance Operations:Oversee weekly/monthly closing processes, high-volume reconciliations, payroll, and daily operational finance.
Consolidation & Group Reporting:Deliver timely, accurate multi-entity financial consolidations and management reports for regional and global leadership.
Tax & Governance:Oversee multi-jurisdictional tax compliance, statutory reporting,
and finance policy execution.
Strategic Business Partnering:Work closely with cross-functional operational teams to optimize financial workflows and commercial decision-making.
Treasury & Liquidity Management:Partner with global treasury teams on liquidity tracking, cash management, and future hedging/FX strategies.
Requirements
Education & Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, or recognized equivalent).
Experience:7+ years of experience in full-function accounting or financial management, ideally overseeing multi-entity operations.
Industry Background:
Ideal: Cards, Payments, FX/Liquidity, Exchanges, or Banking/FinTech.
Core Competencies:Proven ability to manage full-scope finance ops, with deep expertise in at least 2–3 core areas (e.g., consolidation, tax, or reconciliations) and the agility to master the rest.
Languages:Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)is essential for seamless daily cross-border stakeholder engagement.
Work Rights:Must hold valid local Australian working rights (No visa or relocation support).
