Tracc Civilis an industry-leading civil construction and earthmoving contractor based in Bibra Lake, Western Australia, delivering projects across the Perth Metropolitan Area.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experiencedProcurement Officer / Civil Estimatorto join our Estimating team.
This combined role offers the opportunity to support the estimating and procurement requirements of a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects valued between $500K and $10 million.
The successful candidate will prepare accurate estimates, coordinate the procurement of materials and subcontractor services, and contribute to successful tender submissions and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Estimating team to prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates
Complete quantity take-offs, requests for quotes and tender submissions
Source, assess and negotiate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
Incorporate labour, resources, productivity, materials and subcontractor costs into estimates
Quantify and procure inground service materials, including water, sewer, drainage, gas, power and NBN
Coordinate the timely delivery of materials to project sites
Support the Ingrounds Superintendent with procurement and forecasting for current and upcoming projects
Liaise with Project Managers, construction teams, suppliers and subcontractors
Assist with project handovers and prepare variations when required
Attend site inspections as required
Key Requirements:
Relevant professional qualifications and/or industry experience
Proven experience in civil estimating, procurement or a similar role within civil construction
Strong knowledge of earthworks, roadworks, drainage, sewer and services infrastructure
Sound understanding of inground infrastructure components and materials
Experience completing quantity take-offs and obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing
Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively across estimating and project delivery teams
