Our client has a presence across WA, South Australia and Queensland operations. Due to growth, the team is now looking to strengthen its finance leadership team with this current hire.

Description
n
Reporting into the Executive Director, the key scope of this role will include:
n
n
Lead month end process, including journals, management accounts and providing variance analysis.
n
People leadership of a local and offshore based transactional finance model (AP/AR).
n
Building financial models used for contract renewals, pricing support and tenders.
n
Look after regulatory reporting requirements.
n
Oversee FBT, income tax and payroll tax compliance as well as GST.
n




Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and finance team.
n
n
Profile
n
The successful candidate will possess the following traits:
n
n
CA/CPA Qualified.
n
Exposure to the logistics, transport, mining, construction or aviation industry.
n
Prior people leadership experience.
n
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, such as Executive Director.
n
n
