We are seeking an experienced
Senior UX/UI Designer
to join a large-scale digital transformation environment, helping design and improve digital products and services that are accessible, intuitive and genuinely user-centred.
This is an opportunity to work across complex digital initiatives, partnering closely with product, business and technology teams to understand user needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
You will be responsible for:
Designing user flows, wireframes and prototypes from low to high fidelity
Conducting user research, workshops and usability testing
Facilitating co-design sessions with a range of stakeholders
Translating user and business requirements into practical UX/UI solutions
Contributing to and evolving design systems and reusable design patterns
Designing with accessibility and
WCAG
guidelines in mind
Creating storyboards, process flows and sitemaps to communicate concepts
Working closely with product owners, business analysts and other delivery teams
Presenting design concepts and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Supporting requirements definition,
documentation and project deliverables
Ideally you will have:
3–5 years' experience working as a UX/UI Designer
Robust knowledge of contemporary UX/UI methodologies
Proven experience with user research, requirements elicitation, workshops and prototyping
Experience designing to accessibility requirements and
WCAG
guidelines
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience using
Figma
for user flows, wireframes and prototypes
Experience designing for web portals and/or mobile applications will be highly regarded
Experience contributing to or managing design systems will be highly regarded
A genuine interest in accessible design and inclusive digital experiences
You'll be working on meaningful digital products within a complex environment where good design can make a tangible difference to the people using these services.
This is a role suited to a designer who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating with diverse stakeholders and creating digital experiences that are both functional and accessible.
Australian Citizenship is mandatory for this position.
