Collinsville Open Cut is located approximately 160km from Airlie Beach in Queensland, a town known as the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef.
n
Producing both metallurgical and thermal coal for the export market, the surface mine has a long life and is transitioning from a dragline strip to a truck and shovel terrace operation.
n
We are currently looking for competent and experienced excavator and multi-skilled operators to fill multiple positions across our open cut site.
n
Reporting to the OCE, you will:
n
n
Provide safe and efficient operation of heavy earthmoving equipment to meet mine production and organisational targets.
n
Be comfortable performing the full range of mining tasks in a dynamic and changing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
n
n
About you:
n
n
Equipment experience – Excavator >200T, Dozer, Grader, Loader,



Water Truck and/or Haul Truck Operator.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Understanding of and commitment to risk management and safe work practices.
n
Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
n
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
n
