Our supports go beyond performing a list of tasks, it's about attaching genuine and great importance to each individual and their way of life.
We are now seeking to engage appropriately skilled and qualified individual Support Workers to assist a female client living with an Acquired Brain Injury in Yarrawonga.
Tasks will involve working as part of a team to support our client with personal care, including showering, toileting & grooming, transfers and home exercises.
Our client has her own vehicle to access the community to participate in activities that are of interest and meaningful to her.
FULL & EXTENSIVE TRAINING PROVIDED.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist personal care including showering, toileting & grooming
Assist with transfers
Assist with Mealtime Management
Transport the client in clients own vehicle to access her community
Assist to attend appointments and complete shopping tasks
Follow Care Plan, direction and strategies
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS




Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent, or willing to undertake
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Current First Aid including CPR qualification
NDIS workers Screening Clearance
Current Police Check (No older than 3 months)
Working with Childrens Check (employee)
ABOUT YOU
Willingness to undertake personal care (bathing, toileting, personal hygiene) services with customers
Willingness to undertake and ability to pass Resilience Support Complex Care Core Competencies training and other mandatory training
A caring and compassionate approach with the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to be flexible in work hours and approach to meet the needs of our customers
Experience in the use of technology such as smart phones and computer programs
Reliable and dependable
Good planning, organisational and communication skills
Experience working with clients with Acquired Brain Injury highly desirable
Must be available to work alternative weekends on a regular fortnightly roster
