About the Role
n
360 Personnel is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Yard Person / Forklift Operator for an ongoing opportunity based in Acacia Ridge.
n
This is a hands-on outdoor yard position combining forklift operation with general yard and labouring duties.
n
This is not purely a forklift role. You will be expected to get off the forklift and assist with picking, packing, strapping, loading and general yard duties throughout the shift.
n
For the right person, this is a stable and ongoing position with consistent hours.

Duties
n
n
Picking, packing and strapping orders
n
Handling long-length products and accessories
n
Loading and unloading trucks
n
Unloading containers
n
Stock putaway
n
Forklift operation
n
Handling long-length materials
n
General yard housekeeping
n
Manual handling and labouring




n
Communicating with truck drivers and site personnel
n
Following site safety and Chain of Responsibility requirements
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Current Forklift Licence
n
Previous yard, manufacturing, building products or similar experience
n
Confident forklift operator
n
Experience handling long lengths highly regarded
n
Combi-lift or side loader experience highly regarded
n
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
n
Able to accurately read numbers and measurements
n
Good communication skills
n
Strong safety awareness
n
Reliable and punctual
n
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
n
n
Important
n
This is an outdoor yard position, so you must be comfortable working in hot, cold and wet weather conditions.
n
The role involves both forklift operation and physical labouring.
n
Long pants and long-sleeve shirts are required while working on site.
n
