We are looking for an awesome Senior Accountant to join our growing public practice team alongside other entrepreneurial and commercially minded rockstars.
This permanent, full time opportunity plays a key role in BlueRock's success and allows you to partner with some of Melbourne's coolest entrepreneurial business owners.
What you'll be doing:
Tax consulting including employee share schemes, restructuring, and advice
Strategic business planning
Supporting our up-and-coming talent to develop and grow
Financial modelling and forecasting
Working alongside other teams within BlueRock to identify opportunities to collaborateon client engagements
From a compliance point of view, you will play a role in our team to ensure our clients meet compliance and tax obligations, including:
Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, and FBT Returns

We want to hear from people who have:
3-5 years of experience within a mid-tier accounting firm
Previous experience mentoring and coaching graduates and junior team members




Degree qualification and are CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
Strong level of technical advisory proficiency; with tax and consulting/modelling engagements, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and valuations
Excellent Microsoft Excel and Xero skills
