Network Engineer- Telecommunications | FTTP

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a telecommunications infrastructure team, working across the design, implementation and optimisation of access, edge and enterprise networks.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design and optimise telecommunications and enterprise networks.
n
Provide Level 3/4 support and troubleshoot complex network issues.
n
Work across FTTP, GPON/xPON, fibre and fixed access networks.
n
Integrate and test new network equipment and technologies.
n
Work closely with internal teams, vendors and delivery partners.
n
Maintain network standards, documentation and configurations.
n
Participate in an on-call roster and occasional site visits.
n
n
About You
n
n




5+ years' telecommunications Network Engineering experience.
n
Robust knowledge of FTTP, GPON/xPON and fixed access networks.
n
Experience with MPLS, Layer 2, BGP, OSPF and TCP/IP.
n
Strong troubleshooting and network diagnosis skills.
n
Experience with Nokia, Cisco, Juniper or Fortinet is highly regarded.
n
CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA/JNCP or relevant degree is desirable.
n
