We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team at Spring Hill Specialist Day Hospital in the heart of Brisbane.

About the Role
n
As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will play an integral role in delivering safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative journey.
n
You may work across:
n
Admissions and pre-admissions
n




Scrub/Scout
n
Recovery (PACU)
n
Working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and fellow nurses, you will contribute to positive patient outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Experience in perioperative nursing, including theatre, anaesthetics and/or recovery
n
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n
Understanding of ACORN, NSQHS and infection prevention principles
n
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
n
Postgraduate perioperative qualifications will be highly regarded but are not essential.
n
