Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join an experienced and collaborative clinical team delivering high-quality companion animal care. The caseload offers variety across consultations, preventive healthcare, diagnostics, medical workups, and general practice cases, with access to up-to-date X-ray and ultrasound equipment to support effective clinical decision-making.
This opportunity would suit a veterinarian who values teamwork, approachable mentorship, and the freedom to continue developing individual clinical interests. Full-time employment is preferred, although part-time arrangements may also be considered. The structured roster provides regular weekday hours alongside shared weekend and on-call commitments, helping create a balanced and predictable working pattern.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
Deliver comprehensive consultations and ongoing medical care for companion animal patients
Investigate clinical presentations using modern diagnostic and imaging equipment
Develop practical treatment plans while communicating clearly with pet owners
Participate constructively in shared case discussions and clinical decision-making
Maintain consistently high standards of patient welfare and professional care
Qualifications Needed:
Veterinary degree recognised for registration to practise in New South Wales
Strong interest in companion animal general practice and preventive healthcare
Confident communication skills with an approachable client-focused manner
Ability to contribute positively within a collaborative veterinary environment
Commitment to continued clinical learning and professional development
