The Geelong College is seeking experienced and reliable Cleaners to support the delivery of a clean, safe and welcoming setting for students, staff and visitors.
n
We are open to appointing candidates on either a part-time or full-time basis. Applicants are encouraged to indicate their preferred number of hours in their application.
n
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the College, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained, tidy and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
n
n
5:30am to 9:30am (morning shift), or
n
2:30pm to 6:30pm (afternoon shift)
n
n
Additional hours may be available depending on operational requirements.

Qualifications and Experience
n
n
Proven experience in cleaning
n
Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices
n
A broad knowledge of cleaning requirements isessential
n
Occupational Health and Safety knowledge
n
Be a positive contributor to a team
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
Ability to manage workloads in an allotted time frame andwork efficiently and effectively unsupervised
n
Highly customer focused
n
Strong proactive work ethic
n
Integrity, responsibility and respect for others
n
Ability to interact and communicatewith students andothermembers of staff
n
Holder of current Working with Children Check (WWCC), orability to obtain
n
Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
n
Completion of Asthma for Schools Certificate (freecourse)
n
