About the role
Our client supplies a wide range of healthcare equipment, including biomedical equipment to the healthcare sector, aged care sector and private clients across Australia. Their technicians deliver installation, market-leading preventative maintenance and breakdown support, trusted by our clients to deliver safe and efficient equipment. In this key role, you would carry out the installation, necessary maintenance, calibration, repairs and testing of healthcare equipment.
The position is based at the Company Head Office in Sydney and reports to the DC Manager, New South Wales.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Must have an engineering qualification in a biomedical, electronics, material science or mechanical field and preferably working experience within the healthcare sector.
Strong problem solving to customer's needs and provide appropriate solutions
Ability to deliver a high level of communication and professional customer service
The ability to work independently with solid time management, punctuality and admin skillset
Current and valid Driver's License and willing to travel to meet client requirements
Duties & Responsibilities
Identify client's needs and source or construct the appropriate equipment to address their needs. Write specifications for equipment to be sourced.
Become a product expert,
staying up-to-date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to deliver seamless supply, installation, maintenance and repair services.
Install and test new and serviced equipment on-site and provide technical instructions and training to end-users to ensure safe optimal usage and operation of equipment.
Examine, troubleshoot and complete repairs and maintenance servicing of equipment with the highest level of skill and customer service
Conduct quality assurance checks and electrical safety checks on equipment to maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy.
Provide technical support and assistance to the sales teams in the use of equipment and future maintenance requirements.
Prepare clear, accurate and concise service records
Maintain servicing equipment and the company vehicle in a good condition, ensuring inventory is adequate
