VDS Constructions PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our team.

As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial projects, using your expertise to deliver high-quality work that meets industry standards. What you'll be doing

Accurately measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden structures, such as walls, floors, roofs, and stairs
n
Installing and repairing various types of woodwork, including cabinets, doors, and windows
n
Interpreting and following architectural plans and blueprints to ensure projects are completed to specification
n
Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project integration
n
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
n
Providing quality workmanship and exceptional customer service to our clients
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Completion of a recognised carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
n
3-5 years of proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in the residential and commercial construction sectors
n




Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints
n
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to overcome challenges on the job
n
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
Robust attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
n
Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule
n
A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
n
