About the Role

An opportunity is available for an experienced Payroll Manager to take full ownership of the payroll function for a national organisation. This is a true standalone role suited to someone comfortable managing payroll end-to-end and acting as the payroll subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
End-to-end processing of payroll for a multi-state workforce.
n
Manage payroll compliance including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and other statutory obligations.
n
Handle employee payroll enquiries and maintain accurate payroll records.
n
Prepare payroll reporting, reconciliations and month-end information.
n
Manage salary packaging, parental leave and other payroll-related employee benefits.
n
Act as the payroll systems administrator, including support for Chris21 and system improvements.
n

About You
n
n




Proven experience managing payroll end-to-end in a standalone or senior payroll role.
n
Robust knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, tax, superannuation and compliance requirements.
n
Experience processing payroll for a multi-state workforce.
n
Strong Chris21 experience highly regarded.
n
Excellent attention to detail, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
n
Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of the payroll function.
n
