About the role
n
As a Site Supervisor, you will be working closely with the Quarry Manager and is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring a safe, productive, and efficient workplace. In the absence of the Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the quarry.
n
Key responsibilities:
n
n
Supervise and coordinate daily quarry operations to meet production and performance targets.
n
Operate a range of mobile plant and equipment as required, including
excavators,loaders,




dump trucks and screening plant
n
Ensure all operations comply with company procedures, site approvals, and legislative requirements
n
Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure safe and efficient operations
n
Assist with the commissioning and implementation of new plant and equipment
n
Support the development and training of operators on new equipment and operational processes
n
Ensure operating procedures are developed and maintained for new plant and equipment.

What we are looking for
n
n
Previous experience in a supervisory role within quarrying, mining, civil construction, or a similar heavy industry environment
n
Demonstrated experience operating heavy mobile plant
n
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead by example
n
A sound understanding of WHS legislation and best practices
n
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
n
The ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
n
Cert IV in Extractive Industries will be highly regarded
n
Relevant plant operation tickets and qualifications is highly regarded.
n
