Due to continued growth across Australia, Georgiou is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our project-based civil engineering teams.As part of a growing team with a commitment to excellence, you will be provided with challenging work on a wide range engineering and civil infrastructure projects start with a large bulk earthworks and car park build.

What you'll do (but not limited to):

Work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective relationships thatfacilitatethe successful communication and implementation of Georgiou's HSE systems
n
Ensure project teams are adequately trained to perform their HSE responsibilities and provide ongoing coaching to ensure total compliance with internal HSE systems and legislative requirements
n
Support the business in the preparation of toolbox and HSE pre-start content
n
Implements and communicates improvements and strategies in response to
changesimpactingHSE
activities
n
Maintaining andassistingin the ongoing development of Georgiou's HSE systems
n
Influence a positive attitude and commitment towards safety across the business
n
n
What you're valuable at:
n
Aside from having experience ina previoussafety role with working knowledge ideally within the civil construction industry and chain of responsibility requirements. You should
havedemonstratedexamples
toshowcase:

Thorough Knowledge of AS/NZS ****, ISO *****, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Act & Regulations
n
Knowledge of Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act
n

Continuing tomaintainthe high standard of safety management policies and procedures in place.
