Love bikes and enjoy helping people? We're looking for a motivated Bicycle Mechanic/Retail salesperson to join our busy, well-established, family-owned bike shop.

This is a full-time position offering above-award pay for the right person. Previous bike mechanic experience is preferred but not essential if you're mechanically minded, eager to learn, and passionate about bikes.

About the Role
n
This is a varied, hands-on role combining retail sales with workshop responsibilities. You'll help customers find the right products while delivering high-quality servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and bike builds with a strong focus on workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist customers with bike, eBike and accessory sales
n
Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
n
Build, service and repair bicycles and eBikes
n
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
n
Maintain workshop standards and assist with general retail duties
n
Help keep the store clean, organised and well presented
n
n
About You
n




You'll be someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in your work, and has a genuine interest in bikes.
n
Ideally you'll have:
n
n
Retail and/or sales experience
n
Excellent customer service and communication skills
n
A friendly, positive and approachable attitude
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
n
The ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
n
A passion for cycling, particularly eBikes
n
Bike mechanic experience (preferred but not essential)
n
