Bongiorno Wealth Management is seeking an experienced and organised Compliance Officer to support our Financial Planning and Insurance teams.
n
This role would suit someone with experience in financial planning operations, compliance, paraplanning or practice management who is looking for a flexible 2-3 day per week position.
n
Working closely with the Training & Compliance Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting advisers, maintaining systems and ensuring regulatory requirements are met across the business.

About the role
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Managing and maintaining Xplan templates, user groups and data feeds
n
Updating advice document and client communication templates
n
Assisting with adviser onboarding and offboarding activities
n
Supporting internal and external compliance reviews
n
Maintaining compliance registers and regulatory records
n




Assisting with AFSL obligations including fee consents, privacy and AML requirements
n
Supporting training and professional development initiatives
n
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiencies.
n
About you
n
To be successful in this position you will have:
n
Previous experience within financial planning, wealth management or financial services
n
Strong working knowledge of Xplan
n
Understanding of financial planning compliance requirements
n
Excellent organisational and administration skills
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
n
Ability to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
