Pirtek Newcastle is a locally owned franchise of Pirtek Fluid Systems, specialising in the manufacture, servicing and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hoses and fittings.

We are looking for a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Store Person to join our team. This is a hands‐on position suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and is keen to learn new skills.
n
The successful applicant will be actively involved in the day‐to‐day operation of our warehouse and will work closely with our workshop, counter and mobile service teams.

About the Role
n
n
Picking and packing customer orders
n
Receiving and checking incoming goods
n
Stock handling and organisation
n
Preparing and despatching orders
n
Local deliveries and collections
n
Using computers and inventory/order systems
n
Maintaining accurate stock and ensuring goods are stored correctly
n
Keeping the warehouse and work areas clean, organised and protected
n
Providing assistance to other areas of the business when required
n
n
About You
n

Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
n
Takes pride in the quality and accuracy of their work
n
Is organised and able to prioritise tasks
n
Can work independently while also being a team player
n
Is physically capable of handling warehouse stock and equipment
n




Has good communication skills and a positive attitude
n
Is flexible and willing to learn
n
Is comfortable working in a fast‐paced, hands‐on environment
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience
n
A current NSW Drivers Licence — provisional licence holders are welcome to apply
n
A current Forklift Licence — advantageous but not essential
n
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
n
Valuable literacy and numeracy skills
n
n
