We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer / AWS DevOpsfor a leading IT consulting client in Sydney.
This role will play a critical role in supporting the Cloud practice development and will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex cloud-based solutions for our clients, including leading banks, ASX-listed companies, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Design,build, and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies.
Provideexpertise in DevOps methodologies and best practices, including CI/CDpipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation.
Participatein the design and development of cloud-based solutions, working closelywith other teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and businessobjectives.
Manage,monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability andscalability.
Collaboratewith stakeholders to ensure that cloud solutions are designed withsecurity, reliability, and scalability in mind.
Providetechnical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Keepup-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technology.
Requirements




Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Aminimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps, with astrong focus on AWS.
Hands-onexperience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, andCloudFormation.
Strongknowledge of automation and scripting languages, such as Python andTerraform.
Knowledgeof containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experiencewith CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration and delivery.
Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to workeffectively in a team environment.
Abilityto work in a fast-paced and energetic environment, with a strong focus ondelivering results.
