Partner Manager, Victorian State & Local Government , WWPS ANZ Partner Team

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced Partner Manager to drive partner-led revenue growth across the Victorian State and Local Government territory within ANZ Public Sector.
As a Partner Manager within AWS WWPS ANZ, you will deliver on our strategy to accelerate cloud adoption through our SI and ISV partners, driving measurable outcomes for Victorian public sector customers.
In this role, you will own the sell-with motion between AWS field teams and our SI and ISV partner community across Victorian State and Local Government accounts.
You will identify, qualify, and accelerate partner-involved opportunities, bringing the voice of partners to customer discussions while channelling customer needs back to partners.
You will build and execute a territory partner strategy, drive joint go-to-market plans, and work to attach the right partner to every customer opportunity – helping Victorian public sector customers drive modernisation, efficiency, and productivity.
Key job responsibilities
Own and execute the partner sales strategy for the Victorian State and Local Government territory, driving partner-attached pipeline and revenue
Help Victorian public sector customers drive modernisation, efficiency, and productivity through partner-delivered solutions
Drive measurable revenue impact through partner-involved opportunities; carry pipeline targets aligned with supporting AWS field sales teams
Embed within AWS field teams as the partner expert, identifying the right partner for each customer opportunity based on capability and fit
Lead sell-with engagements: joint pursuit planning, partner activation, and co-sell execution with SI and ISV partners
Build and maintain trusted relationships with partner field sales teams, driving alignment on joint opportunities and GTM priorities
Navigate Victorian state and local government procurement frameworks and panel arrangements
Manage pipeline targets aligned with supporting sales teams; track and report partner-involved opportunity metrics
Leverage AWS partner programs to accelerate partner capability and deal velocity
Prepare and present business reviews to senior management
Travel of up to 25% within ANZ may be required

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience
Experience with government procurement and contracting process
Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with C-level sales and strategic partnership building
Experience with technology platform sales with an understanding of government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience managing joint GTM success with technology partners, including development and tracking of joint sell-with and sell-through business activities
Experience with AWS partner programs or equivalent cloud provider partner programs
Experience in Transport, Utilities, or Justice & Public Safety
