ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a values-driven AOD Team Leader to support the day-to-day operations and lead the delivery of participant-led, recovery-focused services.
You will provide guidance to the team and ensure high-quality case management, assessment, referral, education and support are delivered in line with TSA guidelines.
Located in Fountaindale on the NSW Central Coast, this full-time, permanent role is based within a 40-bed residential AOD facility and reports to the Service Manager.
Salary: In accordance with SCHADS Award Level 6.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Report to service manager on service performance with the aim of growing the existing service and client base
Manage day to day operations, roll out of program changes and service/staff performance
Support the efficient day to day service delivery through education, interventions, group work, assessment, referral and case work within a recovery orientated and person led service environment
Monitor the performance of and provide support to direct reports to deliver quality, effective and effective services
Build strong referral pathways with internal and external stakeholders, resulting in beneficial outcomes for participants
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Relevant degree or Diploma in AOD, Community Services, Case Management or a related discipline.
Completion of 4 AOD Skill Set units, or willingness to complete them.
3+ years' management experience in AOD, community services,



health or related sectors.
Experience working with criminal justice clients and understanding of the criminal justice system.
Proven ability to lead teams, build capability and improve service delivery.
Experience supporting people impacted by AOD, gambling and mental health challenges.
Experience working with diverse cultural, linguistic and religious backgrounds.
Strong de-escalation and problem-solving skills when managing challenging or unpredictable situations.
Willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
