About the Opportunity
John Paul College is seeking a passionate and experienced Kindergarten OSHC Lead Educator to join our Outside School Hours Care team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an early childhood professional with experience leading a team, who is ready to bring that leadership to the delivery of a high-quality educational program within our Kindy OSHC service.
This is a permanent part-time position, working Monday – Friday split shifts.
The regular working hours will be 6.45am – 9am, and then 2-6pm, each day.
About the Role
Working closely with the OSHC Educational Leader and Head of OSHC, you will help lead a team of educators, support compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law, and act as the Responsible Person for the service in the absence of the Head of OSHC.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and lead the implementation of the Educational Program in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Lead, mentor and support educators within the Kindy OSHC team
Act as the Responsible Person for the service in the absence of the Head of OSHC
Provide active supervision and support to ensure children's safety and wellbeing
Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues
Support compliance with the National Quality Standard and Education and Care Services National Law
Maintain confidentiality and fulfil mandatory reporting obligations
About You
You will bring:
Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring educators in an early childhood or OSHC setting
A genuine passion for early years education and building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
A Paid Working With Children Blue Card




A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and its practical application is preferred
