We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our specialist medical practice in Townsville. This is a hands‐on management role suited to a highly organised experienced medical Practice Manager who is confident overseeing the day‐to‐day operations of a busy multi specialist practice supporting both clinical and administrative teams.

About the role
n
The Practice Manager is responsible for the effective operation and leadership of the practice, including:
n
Managing and supporting administrative staff
n
Overseeing daily practice operations and workflow
n
Staff management, performance and HR
n
Rostering, leave and workforce coordination
n
Financial and administrative oversight, including billing and reconciliation
n
Maintaining practice policies, procedures and compliance requirements
n
Supporting accreditation, WHS, privacy and regulatory compliance
n
Liaising with stakeholders
n
Managing systems, processes including operational improvements
n
Recruitment, onboarding and staff training
n
Identifying and resolving operational issues and ensuring appropriate follow‐up
n
Supporting the practice's continued development and efficiency
n




About you
n
We are looking for someone who has:

n
The ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and make sound decisions
n
Proactiveto identifying and resolving issues
n
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accountability
n
Experience with HR, compliance, policies and workplace processes
n
The ability to work collaboratively with doctors and clinical staff
n
Desirable skill requirements:
n
Previous experience as a medical practice manager or medical clinical coordinator or non‐medical practice manager
n
Experience within aspecialist or medical practicewill be highly regarded
n
Experience with Genie Solutions practice management software is highly desirable.
n
Experience managing staff and overseeing a medical practice environment
n
Strong knowledge of medical administration and practice operations
n
