Due to an internal move within our sales team, we have an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven National Account Manager to join the team to manage a major national grocery customer. Reporting to the Executive General Manager of Sales, you will be accountable for delivering sales, profit, and category growth through strong customer partnerships and disciplined execution.

Key Responsibilities

Build strong, collaborative partnerships with key customer stakeholders, representing their strategy and growth priorities internally
n
Lead the annual joint business/category plan process and report monthly on customer performance as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle
n
Deliver sales, volume and margin growth in line with budgeted targets
n
Develop and execute promotional plans, category reviews and new product launches in partnership with Category, Revenue Management and Marketing teams
n
Partner with Demand Planning and Customer Supply Chain teams to deliver accurate forecasting and supply outcomes
n
Manage customer activation initiatives with Marketing and the Field team to support growth objectives
n
Build strong cross-functional relationships across the business to enable effective execution

About You
n
n
Demonstrated experience within grocery, managing a major national account
n
Sound understanding of the current retail landscape and market trends
n
High level of financial and commercial acumen
n
Ability to build authentic relationships, both internally and with the customer
n
A passion for improving outcomes, with the ability to think outside the square and drive initiatives
n
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and a willingness to take on tasks to get the job done
n
Ability to travel interstate on a regular basis
n
