With our work now expanding across the Sydney metro area and Illawarra, we're on the lookout for a skilled Crew Manager to head up a brand-new crew and help lead the way forward.
n
About the role
n
The role will be varied, including working on-site to assist the crew, quoting and assessments, job co-ordination and team leadership.
n
Our crews are made up of qualified Arborist's, Climbers and non-climbers, Grounds crew and Truckdrivers.
n
If you are highly motivated, reliable and a true master of your craft you will fit right in.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Team leadership - motivate, support, train and mentor the crew
n
Co-ordinate daily operations of each days work orders
n
Monitor team productivity to ensure jobs run to schedule
n
Operate and maintain plant and machinery and adhere to company requirements
n
Perform Arborist tasks such as pruning and removing trees to Australia standards
n
Manage and implement WH&S; systems on site and implement safe work practices
n
Client liaison - build and maintain positive client relationships
n
Quoting - Provide quotes to clients utilising company frameworks
n
Attend and engage in fortnightly staff and WH&S; meetings
n
Ensure self and team perform consistent work in a safe manner
n
Be exceptionally punctual and reliable in your attendance
n

Skills & experience
n
n




Customer service and Client liaison skills
n
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
n
Highly organised with solid time management skills
n
Confident to make correct decisions when empowered to do so
n
A focused approach to achieve high quality standards
n
Minimum 3 years industry experience
n
White Card
n
Drivers Licence
n
Cert III in Arboriculture (or international equivalent)
n
MR or HR Licence (Preferable but not necessary)
n
First aid certificate (Preferable but not necessary)
n
EWP ticket (Preferable but not necessary)
n
Knowledge of WH&S; environmental and council regulations (Preferable but not necessary)
n
RIW certificate (Preferable but not necessary)
n
ESi II certificate (Preferable but not necessary)
n
